BEDA 12

On this day in 1961 Yuri Gagarin became the first human to travel into outer space.

Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis is one of the longest words in the English language, and is a kind of lung disease.

"@inksstainedhand Was there an event in your life that CHANGED you as a writer?" Maybe that one time. When I was murdered. By the pope.

One of my biggest pet peeves is how people take perfectly good opportunities and ruin them for themselves and others.

What I`m talking about is how some people go on trips either through school or other organizations and decide to ruin it by doing something stupid. This stupid thing might be drinking, drugs, or sex. People might make these choices regardless, but why do they have to do it and risk ruining a good experience. Are these things really worth losing the privilege of taking part in these activities?

I hate how young people think that alcohol is such an important part of social interaction. Is it that people think that they are incapable of enjoying themselves without being intoxicated?

I used to believe that drinking was just stupid, but now I just think that its stupid when people act stupidly about drinking. I think it's pointless when people get so drunk they pass out or get sick, drink and drive, or do anything that common sense tells you not to do.
